BOARD & TRAIN
GENERAL INFORMATION
Our B&T programs are designed for people who have dogs that are a challenge to handle, or have a busy lifestyle, or perhaps you’re going on vacation, or planning a home renovation, or simply would rather leave the work to the professionals.
Our four week program allows us to use the first week to acclimate and work on building a friendship with your dog while addressing behavioral issues as well. This is important in making the learning process as distraction and stress free as possible. Moving forward, we begin working with the basic obedience, “informally”, as we teach or show them the position of each command. Following the next 3 weeks as the dogs understanding becomes finely tuned, we begin working structured obedience–applying more pressure and distractions while they are put through their paces. We also do our best to accommodate any unique/special needs according to you and your dogs environment.
For those interested in starting your dog with our off-leash training option, this will require completing the 4 week on-leash board and train program prior.
In addition, we offer shorter (1-2 week) “refresher” board and train programs for those dogs that have already been through one of our other training programs.
NOTE: A dog training and behavioral evaluation with your (dogs) is required prior to starting this program.
